The former Beatle performed a rare, intimate two-night residency at the historic 1,200-capacity Hollywood venue.
Paul McCartney performed two nights at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The shows, held at the 1,200-capacity venue built in 1926, mark a rare intimate engagement for the artist.
The Fonda sits on Hollywood Boulevard, a historic stage for surprise sets by major acts. McCartney’s residency there is a notable entry in the theatre’s century-long history.
He arrived for the first show on March 27th to a crowd of fans outside the venue. The concerts themselves continue his run of live performances, framed here within a deliberately smaller and more direct setting.
