Power Snatch Release Second EP of the Year

Hayley Williams and producer Daniel James follow their debut as Power Snatch with EP2, a four-track set of ’90s-informed alt-rock and trip-hop.

Power Snatch, the project from Hayley Williams and producer Daniel James, has released EP2. The four-track record arrives months after the duo’s surprise debut, EP1, and moves further toward a sparser, ’90s-rooted sound.

James, who produced Williams’ Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, remains the other half of the band. EP2 tracks — “Machete,” “New Legs,” “Born Dead,” and “Hell Is a Hallway” — pull from alt-rock and trip-hop without flattening the project into a single reference. The release follows the end of Williams’ Hayley Williams at a Bachelorette Party tour in June. In September, she returns to the road for The Hayley Williams Show, her second tour of 2026.

The cadence is notable: two EPs in under a year, both treated as self-contained releases rather than promotional gestures. It reads less like a side outlet and more like a smaller, deliberate format for material that doesn’t need Paramore’s scale. EP2 is out now.
