The global girl group’s latest release leads a week that also places Phoebe Bridgers in the top 10 for the first time as a solo artist.
KATSEYE’s latest release, WILD, has entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, marking the global girl group’s first chart-topping album. The five-track project earned 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States for the week ending August 20, with 145,000 in pure sales. That sales figure represents the largest pure album sales week for an all-female group in over three years.
WILD, which includes the singles “Pinky Up” and “Hootie Frutti,” becomes KATSEYE’s second top 10 entry. Their previous project, 2025’s Beautiful Chaos, peaked at No. 4. The group now stands as the fourth all-woman act to top the Billboard 200 this decade, following TWICE, NewJeans, and BLACKPINK.
The same chart week brought Phoebe Bridgers her first solo top 10 album. Lost Weekend debuted at No. 2 with 118,000 equivalent album units. The rest of the top 10 includes Stray Kids’ This & That at No. 3, Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love at No. 4, Ella Langley’s Dandelion at No. 5, Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem at No. 6, Ariana Grande’s petal at No. 8, Drake’s ICEMAN at No. 9, and Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving at No. 10.
